WARRANTY POLICY

At Bicyrekkord, we work to provide high quality products and ensure a reliable experience for our customers. This warranty policy
sets out the terms and conditions under which warranties apply to products purchased through our company
.

This policy is aligned with Colombia’s Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute) and seeks to establish a clear framework for the protection of both the consumer and Bicyrekkord.

1. General Warranty Conditions

  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
  • The duration of the warranty varies according to the type of product:

Electronic products: 90 days for manufacturer’s defects only.
Consumables: Brake system (pads, discs, brake fluids), tires-halves, tires-hoses, anti-puncture sealants, belts, sprockets, LED bulbs without external driver, halogen bulbs for stop, turn signals and headlights, incandescent bulbs, xenon bulbs, decorative adhesive LED strips, generic or neon auxiliary lights, low cost universal brake lights and turn signals, among other components subject to natural wear due to use, are not covered by warranty.
Other products not mentioned in the above categories: 90-day warranty for manufacturing defects only.

– To make the warranty valid, the customer must present the original purchase invoice .

2. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • Damage caused by blows, cracks, deformation or misuse of the product.
  • Exposure of the product to moisture, liquids or unsuitable conditions.
  • Failures caused by electrical overloads, short circuits or voltage fluctuations outside product specifications.
  • Intervention, manipulation or repair by unauthorized third parties.
  • Alterations to the product, such as modifications or adaptations not approved by Bicyrekkord.
  • Products with broken, altered or removed security seals.

3. Installation and Customer Responsibility

  • To guarantee the correct operation of the product, it must be installed in an authorized Bicyrekkord workshop. The list of authorized workshops is available at: https://www.bicyrekkord.com/talleres-autorizados/
  • In places where Bicyrekkord does not have authorized workshops,
    the customer must inform us prior to installation to receive
    orientation or be referred to the appropriate personnel. If the customer does not contact us previously and handles the product incorrectly in cities where Bicyrekkord does not have authorized workshops, Bicyrekkord will not assume any responsibility for damage or malfunction.

4. Procedure for Requesting Warranty

If the customer believes that his product has a manufacturing defect, he should follow the steps below:

1. Submit a warranty request through the official channels:

2. Attach the following information:

  • Original purchase invoice.
  • Detailed description of the fault presented.
  • Evidence in photos or videos showing the problem.

3. Evaluation of the application:

  • Bicyrekkord will analyze the case within a period of up to 30 calendar days as established in Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute, Article 58).
  • If physical inspection is required, the customer must send the product to our facilities.
  • If the warranty does not apply, the cost of transportation will be borne by the customer.

If the warranty is approved, Bicyrekkord will assume the costs of shipping the repaired or replaced product to the customer and may choose to:

  • Repair the product at no cost to the customer.
  • Replace it with a product of the same or similar characteristics.
  • Issue a credit note for future purchases, in case
    repair or replacement is not possible.

5. Consumer Rights Pursuant to Law 1480 of 2011

  • Right to repair or replacement (Article 11): If the repair is not effective within a reasonable time or the replacement is not available, the customer may request the replacement of the product or the refund of the money.
  • Maximum repair time (Article 12): The repair time may not exceed 30 working days from receipt of the product. If this period is exceeded without an effective solution, the customer may request replacement or refund.
  • Warranty on replaced parts: Parts replaced in a warranty repair will have the same warranty time
    of the originally purchased product.
  • Right of withdrawal in online purchases (Article 47): The customer may request the return of the product within five (5) days.
    business days after delivery, provided that it has not been used, installed or manipulated and is returned in its original packaging. This right does not apply to electronic products or consumables.
